If you have an urgent medical problem which cannot wait until the surgery opens, you can ring 111. You will be transferred to NHS 24 where your call will be dealt with by a trained nurse who will either give you medical advice or arrange for you to be seen locally.
When you phone, please be ready to give the following information:
- The name and address of the patient
- The telephone number
- Name of patient’s own doctor
- Describe what is wrong with the patient.
